Arabic Spiced Chicken Kofta with Beans & Potatoes

by Etihad Airways

on Flight 873

-Somewhere Over the Asian Continent-

Attending the 1st Expert Consultation on Public Health Law in the Eastern Mediterranean, Day 1.

On my way to Cairo.  I'll explain more when my boots are on the ground.

Due to the odd departure time of 01:00, I was able to enjoy two dinners.

In Seoul, the first was my pre-flight SOP meal: CS-PYS MNM (see generally 4.261 Pyongyang Mul Naeng Myeon).  I'm comforted by the thought that it really could've been my last meal if the plane were to have exploded upon takeoff, which is precisely the point of the practice.

At Pyongyang Myeonok (Sinsa) (see most recently 4.290 Mul Naeng Myeon).

A few hours later--technically, flying back in time, it was dinnertime all over again (see also 3.282 Murgh Dum Biryani)--the second was the in-flight meal: Arabic spiced chicken kofta with beans and potatoes.  Blah.
